The Ledge, ChicagoRemember that scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off when the three friends press their heads against the glass to admire the view of Chicago? It was filmed at the Skydeck on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower. So many visitors did the same that the developers decided to build a glass viewing platform – the Ledge. Now you don't have to strain your neck for a view – you just step into a glass box that extends out 1.3 metres from the skyscraper and looks down over 400 metres. But don't just look down – on a clear day you can see across four states.
